I am at work now.. I drove back home to get my phone charger and drove back to work and searched for the update... heh heh heh.. All fools day, huh!!!
I was on MaemoSelect last night and clicked the 'view 360' link to see if I could find out why this didn't work on my MicroB. went to bed feeling cheated and hoping for a 1.2 fix.
woke up this morning and portrait now works in my browser!

Thank you so much for reporting this, for some reason I didn't see a nice blinking icon in my traybar, so I guess it's a matter of time(zones) before it gets released here.

Man... April 1)))) there is no update... today, or tomorrow... )))))) it will be next year 100%!!!
i thought it would have been more believable for someone to start a thread like pr 1.2 cancelled - no more updates for n900.
at least then its slightly more plausible.
