I have raised my questions for help a few times in a different thread but seems like no one was able to help or may be it was'nt very clear to read. So im givng it another shot. Perhaps now ill get some help.

"All the repos are working fine on both wifi/3g/edge except Extras-Devel". Any possible help??

i had the same problem during the last days... maybe even weeks? today i found it worked again. no idea why.

These problems and they are probably not related to the QT 4.6 autobuild issue, but to update failures due to limited rootfs space. (It would be easier to know that if they supplied some details.)

When the system mysteriously tells you that the extras devel has a problem on an app manager update, you can click through and scroll down to find an error message in red. In my case (I have been having this problem alot for the past week or two) is lack of space on the rootfs partition. There are several threads which talk about this issue, but generally you need to either remove some development apps which are sucking up rootfs space or remove the devel repository itself. (The biggest culprit always seems to be the extras-devel repository, but removing it doesn't really solve this problem for you.)

My theory is that the development packages for QT 4.6 are installing lots of junk in my rootfs. Not sure if that is true, though, and would be happy to hear anyone else's ideas on that.

Hmm. I have seen lately quite many programs get updated version in mameo.org/packages but app manager can't find them.
