No, tasknavigator is a full left bar with three icons (Applications, Web browser, contacts, etc) and icons of running applications.
I deleted lines in [Tasknavigator] part in /home/user/.osso/hildon-desktop/desktop.conf. You can just set a wide parameter in this config to zero, but you will find a tiny line on the left side of your screen and in this case the «home» button will run the swap menu. If u will delet lines (like i did) — you will lose the swap menu too.
Hey Kroll, how do you make these changes take effect?

Does it require a full reboot or is there something that can be typed in Xterm for those changes to take effect immediately?

Many thanks!

Just reload the Hildon.
If u are the load-applet user - go to the list process and kill Hildon-desktop. It will restart automatically.

Awesome!

So for newbies like me, in Xterm it's:
killall hildon-desktop

One last thing Kroll, mind sharing your .conf files while we wait for your themed release?

Addison, which one you want? I edited so much .confs while I was trying to understand what this files and parametrs does...

If you wanna get the theme .conf files — sorry, I will not do it 'cause I don't want to share to you a pieces of ****... It's very-very pre-alfa now

Sorry.

Hi to all, this is my first post.
I'm trying to install Skippy-xd and Quasar but i always get the same errors:
- from Application Manager it says those packages aren't installable because of conflicts with "busybox (3:1.6.1.legal-1osso16)"
- from "apt-get" is asks me to remove sysvinit and busybox (because of sysvinit) and lot of other packages... i tried to confirm this but it doesn't work the same.

I don't know if it's a stupid problem but i really don't know how to go over it.

Thanks to everyone can help me!!

p.s.: i'm sure but i remember i get the same error with other packages... but i'm not sure

Hey!
Try to
apt-get remove busybox
apt-get autoremove

and then try to install Skippy-xd or any other app.
