+1 for the Plantronics Voyager Pro. Love it - comfortable and callers come in clear on both ends. Great accessory.

This problem is solved in PR1.2.
Now I use BH-214 - definitely better choice.

I've been using my 3 year old Plantronics Discovery 655 with my N900. Works flawlessly :-)

Since I am also looking for a wireless headset, the BH-904 cought my eye too. But I am wondering about the additional power consumption. At the moment bluetooth is always disabled on my device. Does anyboday know how large the additional battery drain will be when the N900 is always connected via BT to the headset?

i use the bh-902 but i guess its also expensive

i got a BH-104 work like a charm. Very cheap and very affordable. Anything with bluetooth 2.1 will work perfectly.

$29NZD for bh-104 and $39.99 for bh-105.

Not much drainage at all with bluetooth 2.1 headset. I left it on all day IDLE but don't really notice anything. But i listen to music for 4hours through bh-104 and it's like listen with the headphone on N900.

The bluetooth (v2.1with A2DP) protocol that the N900 supports, does have a low power consumtion mode. The power drain when your bt headset is in standby should be minimum. Once you start talking on it, well thats when power consumption goes up, probably even more if you transfer large files, or are listening to music using bluetooth stereo headsets.

I have the older BH-501, which has excellent sound, but lacks music control buttons, and the folding arms are prone to breaking.

I'm using BH-501 and it's working Just Fine [TM]. No surprises, call quality is OK, buttons work etc. The only "issue" is the music quality; I like to enjoy my sound with a good quality, so I usually plug in my Sennheiser HD 228 headphones and use the built-in mics, but when in car or bicycle I wear the BH-501.

Boy was it expensive, but it's just brilliant in a car, because hearing the conversation with both ears just makes it easier to listen to. Without blowing your ear drums with sheer volume...
