Most everything about the OS update seems ok, except for Opera on certain websites. Like www.dealnews.com. I go there, the page loads in about the time it used to load, but then the cpu pegs, and the 800 gets un-responsive. Minimize the Opera window or quit Opera, and it's back to normal. Or leave Opera open, wait a few minutes, and eventually it goes back to normal. This is not how it behaved prior to the update. Is there some Opera option setting that is very different with this release? I tried increasing all the cache sizes, but it still behaves the same.

Anyone else see this?

[I also see it on zap2it with my local 130 channel full analog listings.]

I have no problem viewing that site with the new firmwire for the n800.

No problem her either. It loads fast and renders well.

Rider, coheed22 -- Thanks

But just to make sure I understand, you have no excess CPU activity and opera remains fully responsive AFTER the page loads and when you try to move around in the page?

The page loads and renders fine for me -- that is not my problem -- my problem is what it does to the 800 after it loads.

[Waiting for your response before I re-flash and this time NOT restore my backup settings -- if you don't have a similar problem, I must be getting hit by something from my restore...]

Was this new firmware installed without restoring backup?

I had problem browsing newegg.com with opera.
Either with the old or new firmware, when you try scroll the page using touch screen or scroll bar, it lags very bad.
