1, Always flash the FIASCO image first, then the eMMC image immediately after that. Never boot up the device between flashing the FIASCO image and the eMMC image!
2, When flashing the eMMC content, always flash the FIASCO/Rootfs image first, then the eMMC. Do not boot up the device between the two!
Q:
1, Can someone use simple, easy English(if Chinese I would be very excited) to explain these 2 sentences for me? Are they the same?
2, And what is FIASCO image?
3, Is "RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8.003_PR_COMBINED_003_ARM.bin" the FIASCO image or eMMC or Rom?
thank you very much--- a new N900 user coming from china

I'm not sure. I think it's the kind of compression used for the kernel image by Nokia.

It's the FIASCO ( = kernel) image.
The eMMC looks something like
RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin
( = have the word Vanilla in it...)

The FIASCO image is the root filesystem image, for the on-board flash chip...

The eMMC is the "internal memory card", which holds personal data, settings, and also extends the available application space via "optification" (wiki page is long and involved - don't bother reading unless curious)
I'm not very knowledgeable about the specifics of flashing, but what it's saying is that you should flash them one after another, in the order given, or else Bad Things will happen.

See above. FIASCO is the firmware image format used by the N900 and other Nokia devices. (The acronym is actually kind of ironic when you think about it. :P
