- if your firmware version shows as 1.1.1 then that is good
I've updated to the latest version being 3.2010.02-8.
This version is indeed shown in the ' about the product' screen.
Healthcheck shows firmware version 3.2010.02-8 - PR 1.1.1
Healthcheck shows the device hostname to be Nokia-N900-51-1
Should'nt the device hostname be updated as well? Or are these two items completely unrelated?
My confusion is triggered by two observations:
1) My log file entries start with: Apr 06 01:00:29 Nokia-N900-51-1
I have however seen logfiles on other N900 devices with entries starting with Nokia-N900-02-8
2) Conky shows my device as Nokia-N900-51-1
But I've seen Conky displaying devices as Nokia-N900-02-8
Is this a problem? And if so, does anybody know what could be causing this and if this could turn out to be problem for me with future updates?
