Of course those types of threads are unnecessary because the N900 is perfect in every way. I don't think anybody could honestly deny that there are issues with the N900 that only become apparent when you've lived with it for a while. If you're lucky enough to find that the phone is perfect for you, then huzzah, but don't just flame the people who criticise it. The attitude of the maemo.org community seems to be enormously condescending towards anyone who complains about issues, so it's no wonder that people become disillusioned and start these complaining threads...
