Very nice app! btw some weird things are happening, someone can check if I'm the only one?
1* one of the cameras take pictures that are always black.
2* after taking pics, in the n900 folder (browsing with file manager) there are a lot of double folders. IE: images images and so on. This until a reboot.
ls -a gives no problem.
is the same for you too?
The perl script was the first implementation. Then it moved to a Qt application that got packaged as a .deb package. That package is all you need to install now.
So, to answer your question: No, you don't need the perl script, just the .deb package.
There are instructions in this thread on how to install the package by hand. The general form is:
Hi guys,I set all, press "go" and nothing happens, why?i start the camera before? Thanks
sorry for my english
EDIT: ok now work,sorry
How did you get it to work? I wanted to timelapse a thunderstorm but after I selected 100 pitures, 30 sec interval and pressing go nothing was output in the folder I selected....
Sorry for the long absence. real life gets in the way.
I was waiting for PR1.2 to upload this thing to extras-devel since that will bring QT4.6 and I would have to recompile/package anyway, but it is taking longer than I thought. So, I'll try to do that soon.
I'm thinking of changing the UI to something more like the alarm settings (the scrolling lists) since the sliders are not very handy. What do you think?
It would also be nice to have a small preview of what the camera is seeing, right? I'll try to do that...
HDR is still down in my list of future features...
@Twinings: I can increase the limit to anything you want. It's just that there has to be a limit, unless I just drop a textbox there, which would defeat the purpose of a GUI. any suggestions?
@erniadeldesktop: maybe you are trying to take high resolution pictures with the front camera. that won't work since the camera doesn't support those resolutions. I'll try to make it smarter about this.
hi,thank you very much for this application!
You can only put a textbox in the selection of photos to take? and leave the rest as it is now.
or raise the limit to 1000 (an exaggeration but leaves the user more free)
also put a preview of the camera in real time is a good idea
I'm waiting the new version
