Just as an alternative to ceaseoleo's original post, instead of "clicking on each individually" I'd suggest using file manager to select all the files in the directory of choice, and then clicking on "File|Open" (You can also right-click and choose "Open").

I still use the built-in media player, because I don't like Canola's constant scanning. I haven't really given UKMP or kilikali a real try, because for the moment the built-in player meets my needs. I don't care about album art, as my screen goes off in a few seconds anyway, and don't need streaming at the moment.

kilikali is good for music , except for the facts of 1. not being able to skip tracks by going left and right on the d pad. and 2. that i cant seem to add 1 individual song to a particular list once its made. im not real big on mplayer for these 2 reasons , no ability to skip ahead on slide bar. and i hate having to see the full path displayed on the screen... i just want filenames only to show same with music , dont need any tag junk
