I have to admit that I have never understood the guy impulse to have mostly-nekkid women as wallpaper images. Is there some kind of manly appeal to being caught looking at softcore instead of making a phonecall, or something?

Seriously, why? Work time and pr0ns time are very different times. Intermixing them leads to the bad.

Speed is ok, Gnome seems to run far better on my N900 (at least 3-4x faster) that it did on my N800, however it will become more usable as i improve power management, implement power saving, implement video & audio playback, and tweak keybindings for convenience a bit (keyboard completely works, but the lock, zoom, & power buttons don't yet), and i need to get wifi, bluetooth, gps, and gprs working if i can.
