A little offtopic but is there a point to OCing the DSP? Doesn't it drive all the audio in the device?

I'm using the built-in HLE withouth having any other version than the current one installed before. FFVII stops working when the first battle screen should appear.

Are other bios files recommended? Cycle multiplier was set to 10 and 5, both not working, default for the rest of the settings.

While using a PSX emulator my device is overclocked to 900Mhz. Although the sounds still seems to be a little "behind", the intro and the loading screen run almost perfectly.

Anyone willing to give advice?

Update:

Using the '97 PSX BIOS now but couldn't find time to test it out. Hope I'll have it later.

Update2:

Works great now. Settings:

Standard except Multiplier set to 10 on 900Mhz overclock during games.

Hello? For the 3rd time:
Why is it that Crash Bandicoot games in particular do not work/launch? Is there something specific about them in their code or is it just a random issue? Was hoping for Crash 1,2,3,4 to be played on the N900.

We have seen your question.
The fact that you recieved no answer means that we do not know one.
You should ask a person or forum with more knowledge in PSX emulation arcanes. NGEmu.com maybe? Or one of the PSX emulators authors.

Hi all, i'm new here, i have a question, i tried to install psx4all but it has 2 missing dependencies, libhildon1 (>=2.2.10) and libhildonmime0 (>=2.1.5) and i can't find that in no place. Somebody can help me?.... by the way, yesterday i overclocked to 900 mhz and it's working fine fine, more fluid... so... thanx in advance

WORKS Kula World, Gex, GTA 1: Full Speed @ 900Mhz
WORKS Driver: 70-80% speed
WORKS Gran Turismo 1: only works with manual shift gear. On automatic, the cars changed between 1 and R. (thanks to scorpio16v)
NOT WORKS Tomb Raider 1-2: crashed when i start new game
NOT WORKS Tomb Raider 5: ingame is very bad, flashing walls, and some glitches...

I think this is the best settings(with 900MHz cpu):
frameskip: 0/1
cycle multiplier: 8 (with stock 600MHz cpu: 4)
bios: scph7502.bin (renamed to scph1001.bin)

HLE bios best settings(with 900MHz cpu):
frameskip: 1/2
cycle multiplier: 8 (with stock 600MHz cpu: 4)
