I love it too. Even more after the firmware upgrade. Youtube plays next to flawless (let the buffer finish loading first, then click play!). Skype, etc. etc. It's amazing. The next release of the OS will be even better. Keep chugging away Nokia engineers!!

I am glad to see that some folks are really starting to 'get it' when it comes to the concept that the N800 really represents.

I realize that many of the functions of the N800 can be accomplished on the N95, but here is my point. The cell phone interface is just too small. Not only is it tough to see (and not just with my old eyes) but it is tough to type and navigate. I love the idea that it's all in my pocket, but unfortunately, the tiny little phone is just that, tiny!

I know the N800 is bulkier and heavier than a phone, but I want a screen that I can see and a way to navigate that doesn't require typing with my thumbs. I know someone posted saying that the screen isn't really high resolution...ok, but compared to the phone screen, not your hd tv. I need the 'real estate' so to speak, and the N800 delivers just enough. Not too much though, or it would be another laptop! I'm certainly done with carrying that thing around! The laptop is too big and the cell phone is too small. What to do?

Ok, I know it means we have to carry around two things instead of one, but I'd rather carry the N800 than my laptop. In fact, I don't even get out my N800 unless I need to do something more than make a call, but when I do need to check email or read the forums, etc, out comes the N800 and the phone goes back in the pocket! It's really the best of both worlds, and as I said, I am loving it!

Where are the "Doc Reader" and "Antiword" applications? I am not familiar with these applications and would love to read Word documents. I have been trying to read word documents on a tablet for years without success.

I love my n800 also. I have a mythtv setup. I record alot of tv, then I transcode the videos that I want to see in my n800. I use the mythweb interface to transcode the recordings. Then I use a upnp server to serve the files to the n800. So I can watch my recordings anytime inside my house by streaming them.. If I want to watch outside my house I just copy the video to the n800 without ever connecting the usb cable.. all I am missing is live tv from my nokia..

Well, the Nokia N95 does all of the things that Greyghost lists, and has built-in GPS and navigation as well as a built-in video recorder and 5-MP camera! In fact, just about all of the things can be done except ereader without adding additional software. And it is smaller than the N800 and the iPhone. Oh, and it's a phone too (but can do skype with free add-on sofware)
smaller than the iphone? the n95 is thick brick with terrible battery life.
