Its a tough one because realistically there are some great handsets coming available......
On one hand I love my N900 and feel like I want to be with it forever and maybe have a baby with it.
On the other hand I understand that its still a work in progress and we're still not too near to the finished product, and with the X10, N1 and other handsets its a tough one.

In short, I'd still pick the N900 anyway because the other handsets don't make me moist.

N900 was released in November 2009, so it is 4 months "old". There is no better OS and also no better device on market currently. MeeGo devices will not appear until the end of this year. So buying N900 now will leave you with nearly a year of enjoyment and then you can have new device. Waiting for greater new products to come is alway lost battle. There always be something better on horizon. Live now..

Yep, I'd have another. I don't think anything else would meet my expectations for power & flexibility now.

Yes, yes, yes!!! Excellent bit of kit. If you know what you are getting yourself into then buy it, but don't cry later when you don't have portrait view.........

    Cheers,

    Barrie

I definatley would but would advise anyone considering it to do reasearch and make doubly sure it has the features YOU want! Lots of dissappointed people on here for that very reason!
