Hi guys,

Since updating my firmware via USB and losing all my apps, my on screen keyboard no longer works!

I open a new text message, slide the screen closed, and press on the text field, but the keyboard never shows.

please help! if you need more information in order to help me, I'm happy to provide it for you!

Maybe you have to reenable virtual keybord in the settings menu?

wow - now I feel like a tool...

I didn't even know it could be disabled! (why would anyone want to disable it? for use with external keyboard I guess?)

Same thing happened to me after updating, but simply disabling/enabling again didnt work for me. I needed to first disable the onscreen keyboard, reboot the n900, and then enable it again after it started back up before I could get it to return.
