im running a 125/900 now, no problems so far.

aside from the problems (like stuttering), is the low voltage 125mhz idle have a bad effect in HW as well?

Low voltage doesnt damage hardware, high voltage does.

i use the same kernel as u.. but did this /etc/pmconfig "scaling_min_freq 250000" i a don have the stuttering... and it stay at idle 250mhz. idon´t no if that is the way, but it works 4 me..

i have tried both kernels lv and ulv and i think that with the lv kernel my phone is faster comperative with ulv , i found ulv a liitle bit laggy.
I found lv kernel speed exactly the same as the normal voltage kernel.
So i think that lv kernel is the best choice , so far.
Lower tempratures (so safe for the summer even on 900mhz) and good performance.

Working OK. I have used ideal kernel since last night without any problems. Most of the time at 850MHz and time to time at 1GHz.
This was cure for FM radio problem 2409

Be careful with that. I have erased the "current" link and rebooted without reminding to make it again. Now the device doesn't boot any more

I'm currently downloading the latest Maemo5 image and plan to reflash tomorrow in the morn' -9 hours from now - if anybody has an idea which could help before I do, please let me know.
I've tried to set my device in r&d mode and it says "no initfs \o/"

EDIT: yes I had to reflash. Was not too shocking. Presently running kernel 22.

Time is always a huge problem for me, but I've been kicking around the idea of writing an overclocking control panel / widget that does the following:

- Displays a graph of CPU speed vs. battery life over time
- Allows you to select minimum and maximum clock rates
- Implements a schedule (more clock when screen active, less during phone calls, whatever)
- Allows control over other power management functions (ie. ondemand governor)
- Profiles for long runtime or high performance
- "Safe mode" to disable OC'ing if the last reboot was < 5 minutes ago
- An autodiscovery mode that can run on bootup and optimize the various settings until it finds the best that a given phone can support
- (maybe) implement a panel that can control process priorities, renice'ing the camera/video recorder, mediaplayer, etc. to -20 while operating

If there's enough demand for it, I'll give it a shot; anyone interested?

Hello all..here is a begginer on Titans Kernel, so i hope i can have a little hand on

Regarding to information on: http://wiki.maemo.org/Overclocking , and what i understand about it:

For XLV kernel:
250 is < idle stock (extremely low voltage)

For: "ideal" kernel:
500 is idle stock (lower voltage)

So, the XLV is more battery saver than the ideal one ? Or i dont understoot well?

I installed now the 'ideal' kernel, 500 min - 850 max.
If i check the pmconfig file, the values are default: min=125000 max= 600000 (so it is ignoring the pmconfg file?)

So..how can i push up this kernel max over 850? To 900 Mhz, for example (permanently).

Edit pmconfig file or..is other way?

Sorry, all this time i've used lehtos kernel, i just instaled this kernel a few minuts ago (yes, i read a lot os information and the wiki..please give a litle help

)

Sounds very good so I'm in. Especially schedule for clock is something that I would like to see implemented.

Titan's ideal kernel at normal usage + low clock freq and voltage when idle (i.e. night times) -> good user experience + long battery life

Also other planned features would be nice!
