I'm not a huge Twilight fan, but after enough pestering I watched the first two movies and read the firt book.
I'd have to say I'm team Jasper. Edward is too whiney and sulky and Jacob has too much of Edwards "beware! I could kill you!" crap after he becomes a werewolf.
Jasper is like a real vampire. Cool, not completely safe, nice enough, and his girlfriend Alice isn't a depressed, depressing girl. Jasper's mood changing ability is pretty cool too.
