Registration for Beta Test of Nokia Ovi Suite release 2.2 has started!
12-Apr-2010 08:35 PM

Hi all!

We are especially looking for Nokia N900 and MS Outlook 2010 users. We will tell more about the new features and improvements in Nokia Ovi Suite 2.2 when the testing starts.

Please register here

Best Regards,

Kale from Nokia Ovi Suite Beta Test team

You need a Nokia account... (Your Ovi or Forum Nokia login will do.)
You then need to join the "discussions " forum dealio and create an alias (forum name) and then link this alias to your Nokia account.

Once that is done you now have the required information (Nokia account name and Discussions alias) to fill in the required fields in the Beta Test registration form.

Do all that and you end up with the following:

Thank you for registering!

Nokia will contact you by 15th May 2010 if you have been selected to participate in the beta testing phase of the latest Nokia Ovi Suite release.
Took about 10 minutes including the typing of this post. Links are provided once you click on >> here << from Kale's post quoted above.

Thanks for the heads up jackie_jagger

So, it appears that the beta isn't going to open until 15 May. Probably a month and a half to two months away from a final version.

Let's hope it works. Signed up for the beta.

@gabby131 and bjknight

This is about a beta for OVI suite (program on you computer for connecting to your N900 to backup and edit) not for OVI store.

I have also registered for the beta.

Couldn't agree more. I will have to test it on my wifes computer if I get in on the beta.
