I bought the same Mini Plastic Tripod from DealExtreme.
For N900, the width of the holder is too long, if one wants to have the top "claw" between the volume buttons and power button, where would be enough space for it. But in this way N900 is pretty stable in landscape mode although the left side of N900 is without the support,
If support for the left side is wanted also, the top claw is too wide, so it will press either power button or camera shutter button.
Also if Mugen 2400 mAh battery is used, the claw is not deep enough.
Like the previous poster, I plan to modify the top claw, so it will be thinner to sit between power button and camera button, and also shorter, so it fits with thicker depths of Mugen battery back cover.
