Another thread here noted that jiggling the power button might fix weird touch screen issues, well that did the trick. Thanks guys!
Can anyone tell me why jiggling the power button might have fixed this problem? A loose connections and/or moisture might be the culprit, no?
We're not talking about some runaway process because reboots, battery removal, holding power button, etc. never fixed the problem. In fact, the alarm would trigger while off but the touch screen remained unresponsive.
Could the alarm program itself have somehow caused this?
p.s. If I've got this problem again, does the N900 have some form of single user mode, or usb access trick?
