What interests me is the claim that "we prioritized development... for the target audience of this device".
If effective satnav, a fully-specced calendar, and the myriad of features found as STANDARD on lesser nokia phones are not priority for a premier (if not flagship) device then what was the target market for the N900?
Nokia repeatedly stated that this was a tech leader device, step 4 of 5 blah, blah blah. It's their premier "mobile computing" device definitely not their flagship. If you remember the conference when it was announced it was pretty much glossed over. If anything maybe Nokia was surprised by the reaction of the market (i.e. its more popular than they thought, for a larger more mainstream audience than they thought)
Ovi Maps 3 will not be on your N900 in the near future if ever.
