* Auto-recording of GSM calls
* Useable as dictaphone
* Record device audio (e.g. FM or internet radio, game sounds)
* Configurable Save Folder
* Autonaming of files (including call partner number)

But not properly - mic never was disabled. In the new version, you can select "System" as source and just record system audio.
Or "Dictaphone", if you want to use the mic.

When I installed the new 2.0.0-1 version, from the old 0.4.0-1:

I press the red button, it turns green. I press it again and it won't do anything.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing or am I doing something wrong?

Read the help page with the bugs list. You're installing software from Extras-Devel - if things work in there, it's always a miracle :-)

Short version: Wait for 2.0.0-2

I fixed it and uploaded yesterday, but ONCE AGAIN the package importer is down so no packages arrive in the repos :-(

The 2.0.0.-1 contains spurious icons: mclock.png.
When installing/upgrading I got a message that mclock.png was also in package mclock.

Comparing the icon from recaller and mclock they turn out to be the same. Guess they should be removed from recaller...

2.0.0-2 is now available from the repos.
(Please remember that this is extras-devel ;-)

There is reCaller also in applications menu. When clicked, it becomes highlighted, but nothing else happens. What does it do?

I have now two reCaller widgets on a desktop. One is for recording calls, one is for dictaphone. Would be good to have some way to see the difference in them, like colour or letter or name.

Is there CLI to recaller? So in terminal could be recording started to listen phone call, system sounds, or microphone, chosen by an CLI option?

Would like to have recording buttons on FM-radio, so I am wondering if somehow reCaller could be used as a back-end.

See, https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9944
