I have done search on maemo.org, cannot seem to find the answer.

I lost some contacts when doing the "Hermes" sync, good thing is I had a backup. But the nightmare happened after I imported contacts. Not only I got all the contacts two copies(some of them are 4 or 5 copies, I have no idea why), some folders also show up in the File manager as two copies. I went in the contacts, deleted the extra copies, more than 300 of them. But how can I get rid of the extra copies of the folders.

Effected folders including: Audio clips, Camera, Documents, Images and Video clips.
Notes: there is only one copy of everything in the terminal. It's just the File manager's problem.

The related bug is fixed, but is a part of the upcoming PR1.2 update. So hopefully will be fixed when the update arrives.

PS: PR1.2 is supposed to be coming soon, but there is no official ETA.

Thanks, I look back to the post, and found the solution to resolved my problem, by reducing the number of files/folders in the MyDoc folder.

please delete this post or merge it with others.
