Just received my 770 and when I turn it on all I get it white screen

Have you tried taking the battery out, putting it back in, charging it full with the ac adapter, and then trying to turn it on again?

You don't have any vertical lines by any chance? If you do, unfortunately you have the WSoD and its needs to be repaired by Nokia.

This is kinda a side track but this is worth telling. So I call buy.com to tell them I have a deffective one. They ask me how did I get the device. I said it came in a box. They said according to their records that it will be shipping tomorrow. So if the one I got worked I would have had 2 devices. Now ain't that funny.

Check this thread - you may be able to get a replacement from buy.com for the defective 770.
