    My N900 Screws Batteries

    Hi,

A month ago I woke up and looked at my phone, it asked me a weird question: "Do you wish to turn the device on?" - If you are not on, then how are you asking me? I clicked on OK and the device turned off and I wasn't able to turn it back again, or charge the battery.

I bought a new battery and each day the lifetime of that battery was growing shorter, until it died too. I sent the phone to a private store for repairs and they didn't manage to repair the device. It's a problem for me to send the device to the US because of customs and such. So first I'd like to ask you guys if you have any clue.

So first off, the first battery is alive again for some reason and I can charge it and turn the device on. I tried reflashing, but I'm not sure it worked as the guys at the store did the same. I'm running BatteryGraph, it shows the following:
    Volts: 3800 mV on 50% and 4175 on 90%.
    Charge: 811 mAh

Questions: Are the volts too high? Does it actually kill the battery cells or just drains it each time really fast? Should I try flashing the eMMC? Will it void my warrenty? What is the "FIASCO" image? and your personal opinion if I should make the effort and send the phone to repairs at all costs.

    Thanks.

    the volts arent high.... 3800mV = 3.8V

try to reflash vanilla.bin and the combined .bin

    try another charger

if it dont solve your problem send it back to nokia....

    3200 - 4200mV is normal.
Battery low warning comes at around 3500-3650 in my experience. Shutdown at 3200.
