After 1 month of using my N900, a hardware problem has occured
    The speaker stopped working.

I know where other people have a problem, where the usb port comes out.

So I'm starting this thread (very similar to Problems with N900 USB port becoming broken / loose and resulting warranty & repair issues) but here we're counting only those which have had a hardware problem.

So this one doesn't let me report that I have had no problems? I don't quite understand its purpose.

It purposefully has no: I had no problem.
Because YOU CAN'T CHANGE YOUR VOTE!

in a poll titled "i had a hardware problem!" i didn't actually expect there to be a "i haven't had a hardware problem" option in the poll, but apparently i'm a bit weird so its probably just me...

I agree with you (and I fully considered that before posting), but I still don't understand the purpose of the poll. Lets say that here are the results:

    33 percent usb
    10 percent speaker
    57 percent other

    What would that show?

that the "other" option should be expanded!

It would only shows absolute number of people that had a hardware problem, or lie about having a hardware problem, and who found talk.maemo.org and found this poll.

It wouldn't give any indication at all about the vast majority of users who have no problems at all.
