Ok guys before i start thanks for taking the time to look at my problem.I bought the n900 2 Mounts ago and i love this phone .but the other day i was txting and then the screen turned red and has lines through it and goes up and down.I cant seem to get it to go away .i pulled the battery out and reboot ,same.Next i re flashed with the latest firmware and the os bringing it back to factory settings .The phone works fine ,sim works ,all is good.but than about 5hrs later the screen goes red again and is unusable.I re flash again problem is gone but comes back after about 5hrs.It doesn't seem to be a hardware problem but software.Is this a problem with the open gles2.any help or advise would be great.

Why dont you test ya phone without loading with any application, after a fresh firmware flashing. You might also try flashing emmc if you havent allready done so.
well check this video of nokia 5800 showcasing famous display failure. If you are facing similar (or on the same lines) problem than its definitely hardware issue.
