I didn't have this problem until I installed the new Mozilla browser and then uninstalled it. I was having problems with the Moz browser so I switched back. I was forced to reinstall (re-flash?) the new firmware. Now, my N800 seems to get stuck in a loop when trying to switch between multiple windows in the web browser. Luckily I can close the window, so it is not totally useless yet.
My experience with the problem as you described it:
1) Never had the problem with the old OS using the old Opera; i.e. only started happening after my upgrade to the new OS that brought an enhanced Opera.
2) I then reflashed but was unfortunately, by opening several windows rapidly in Opera, able to reproduce the problem.[the right-click menu also lost the 'open in new window' option]
3) Reflashed again and immediately installed the new Mozilla based browser and used it with the 'microB' engine. Fortunately I was not able to reproduce tthe problem.
4) After a couple of days I switched the engine to 'Opera'.(engine switching option available in the new Mozilla based browser). I am again happy to report that I was unable to reproduce the problem
My personal conclusion is that the problem lay with the 'enhanced' Opera browser in the new OS, and therefore would recommend using the new Mozilla based browser switching between the two engines to get the best results depending on the site visited.
PS
When I lost the 'open in new window' option of the Opera browser [see 2) above], I could not find a way to restore the default menu options. Would anybody know where they might be located in the filesystem, so that one could restore them using Xterm?
