From what I understand, the n770 has a USB1.1 interface which is considerably slower than USB2.0. Theoretically you should be able to transfer at 1.5 megabytes/s on a USB1.1, but in reality that number is usually alot lower. 2 hours still sounds a little much though...

Today I copied over a 300Mb file. It took 90 mins.
One thing I have noticed though is that when I was flashing the device, it only took about 2 or 3 minutes.
Ah well, looks like I'll have to go for solution no.2 then

Got my 770 the other day and solved most problems I've had with it thanks to this forum.
This one I haven't seen mentioned anywhere.
When I connect the 770 to my PC via USB to transfer files, it takes forever to copy.
I moved a couple of vids over (total size 700Mb) and it took almost 2 hours!
Surely that can't be right?
