I have found this to be quite annoying but i guess i can live with it if its not possible.

So everytime i try to use my device after i bring it back from standby, either by pulling down the swith on the side or by sliding to unlock, i get the popup that asks me to select a connection. Its quite annoing because i have to clik away if i dont want to select a connection which is most of the time. Doing that takes about 1-2 seconds and if for some reason it lags, it can take maybe 3-5 seconds for me to be able to do what i wanted to do.

I know i can get rid of it by always being connected but i was wondering if there was a better, not so battery consuming way of doing it. It sucks having to wait a couple of seconds when i need to use my device right away.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you got the RSS Widget on your desktop? If so, see Bug 8002, which apparently is fixed in PR 1.2. For the time being, just remove the widget from your desktop.

It was the rss reader.
That solved my problem.
Unfortunately, now i have another problem. No more rss widget on my desktop. Well at least not until PR 1.2
Ugh, another reason to want the update even more.
Maybe ill add my story to the PR 1.2 speculation thread. lol
