Sorry guys, I battled with Google to find what the path name is called for the Mobi books I have in directory Books on the removable Sandisk. That's something fbReader requires for configuration. What is the Maemo Linux path called?
I also looked for an N800 file manager that uses Linux names instead of the friendlified names one that comes with OS 2007, but Midnight Commander works only in ver 2006. Anybody know of another?
Okay, but I saw grey blanked out for MC when I went to Maemo. Maybe you have a direct link to your install page?
But, I wish you could have told me the exact name of the path to Books on the removable Sandisk...
Ok... I had the same reaction (expert Linux sysadmin/N800 noob). Seems odd for such a nice piece of software. Typical problem: Software good, interface ok, docs/help suck.
In the reader main screen, in the bottom left corner, there's what I believe is the 'library' button. Click this, and you can rummage around using a normal Linux-type dialogue box.

There is a different version of mc that works in ITOS 2007. I can't remember the location just right now, but I've given it several times on the forum. A search is in order, perhaps?
