Hello all,

I wanted to know if there's a way to plot AP's to a map using the WIFI and GPS. I tried back when I had my n810, but kismet had some problems activating the GPS or something like that. I know NeoPwn will problebly have a solution for me, but I wanted to know if there was anything available at the moment.

Thanks

sounds interesting, I was into this back in the day, hopefully someone responds with something nice. Probably could somehow write a script which would auto-add points of interest to the maps.

Do you mean something like this that's available for S60? Good Idea

It's good to see some interest. I think if someone could port Kismet for the n900, we could find some success. Should be easy because it's a CLI program, but I have no knowlege in porting apps.

Thanks

Is anything new here?

I tried it now with easy debian, but while starting kismet I get:
FATAL: Unknown capture source type 'wlan12xx' in source 'wl12xx,wlan0,test'

I tried also
source=wl1251,wlan0,test and source=mac80211,wlan0,test

Doesn't work at all. Any ideas?
