I've got an N900 running 3.2010.02-8.203.1. I find if I go to conversations and then use the onscreen keyboard. If I type out some words and then move the cursor back (using stylus) to edit a word or add a sentence in the middle of what I've just written; then when i 'minimize' the keyboard and show the conversation screen my text appears jumbled where I've edited it.

Anyone else get this problem and/or know if there's already a bug report started anywhere? It's crazy!

havent had that but hate the way what you type blocks out what the previous person has written
also sometimes there's a real lag when typing comments on webpages and forums, then sometimes it will stop completely and switch to a google search...

Feel free to click "Vote for this bug" in https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8066 (but please don't add "I want this too" comments that just create bugmail for everybody).

Hmm, that sounds weird. There's been some fixes for AJAX?JavaScript stuff lately, but yeah, as a developer you can have lots of "fun" trying to support everything what's out there on the web...

I realize this is kind of an old thread but I have the same bug that OP reported not only in conversations.. When i edit a link in browser for example, I remove old link and type new one, click enter and old text is not removed but the new one appears right before it. Or if I edit something in the middle of the link, my text gets pushed either to the beginning or pasted randomly around.

I have reflashed the firmware twice already and each time the bug persists.
This does not always happen, once in a while. Happened just now.

I have noticed also that it happens more often when I type a text with hardware keyboard and edit it with onscreen keyboard.

Similar with as to what happening with my Nok , Delayed response to typed input in Internet . sometimes in conversations editor scrambles words - or complete sentences that are scrambled . Now I have a high processor usage after any conversations or internet where I type in search words or what ever . Found in conky hildon-input-me as culprit !! Battery life is being eaten alive , sometimes the 900 gets very warm !! Any Ideas ??
