    The Clarion Mobile Internet Navigation Device runs Red Flag Linux with a 2.6 kernel; however, I don't immediately see a place to download GPL source from Clarion. They do include the GPL and LGPL in the manual though.

    Yes, but as I neither own their product nor copyright to any of the code involved, I cannot pursue the matter futher.

    damn for $140 this 4.8inch MID looks like a great deal. seems you can install ubuntu on this guy, it would make a very affordable in-car media headunit w GPS! pity about the terrible 1hr battery life though

    looks like i'll have something busy on my hands come May when my exams are over!
