Why am I not able to check Road Runner email through the browser? I am able to set up pop email, but on public or open WiFi this is not secure because Road Runner pop mail does not support SSL. Although Opera will let me log in it will not bring up the email page afterward. Just hangs...any suggestions?

where I reported success after my local rr server upgraded to a new interface. My experience was the same as yours prior to their change and my update to the latest N800 firmware (probably not related).

I did search and have again today, but for some reason I get only this thread as a result. I searched for "Road Runner" as two words and as one as you suggested.
Oh well, I guess I am out of luck and my RR is still the 'old' version.

You might be using the "search this thread" mode, which yields only this discussion. Try the "search" (as in search the forum) in the upper menu line which starts with "user CP" and ends with "Log out". For me, that produces several more threads.

I was searching in this forum, N800--not this thread. But in order to get other results one has to search ALL forums. But no one seems to have a solution; I am SOL it would seem.
