We have a wireless network with hidden SSID at work.

I can connect to it if I manually choose it from my saved connections but it won't connect automatically when in range where the visible one always connects.

Is there any workaround about this?

I have the same problem with a wi-fi with hidden SSID. Sometimes, but not always, it connects from saved connections. I have not figured out the pattern.

Does the SSID use WPA-Enterprise? If so, it might be Bug 3399 that is stopping it autoconnect, rather than the fact that it is hidden.

Correct, it is WPA enterprise.

In that case, please vote for that bug (but please no "me too"-style comments).
