So im interested in the usb host mode hack (even though to my understanding there are power limitations) to connect some sort of usb wireless cellular modem to my n800.

Has anyone done the usb host mode hack?

If so please list what devices you have attached? and also please explain any extra power modifications

Just want to see if other people have had any luck before i get into it.

thanks

If you would use the search function you would actually answer your own question.
THERE IS NO N800 USB HOST MODE AS OF YET!!!
Again I could be wrong... But doubt it

The OP was talking about the hack to enable USB host mode, of which there is one out there that I read about.
I haven't done it, 'cause that's way outside my capabilities.

Yes I know but if you read most of the threads you can not do anything with it... Nothing works...

I've tried it and it didn't work. I did get 5v power out, but I couldn't do anything useful with any device. I tried both sets of patches, the newest about 2 months old.
