I think I would have wanted to go for the HTC Desire, but resisted the temptation because it has no front facing camera for Skype video calling. I know the N900 still has yet to implement this feature, but I didn't realise it would be so long when I plonked for it. I consider my N900 more as a hobby than a phone.

Anyway, my old phone was a 3 year old hand-me-down from the wife (which I barely ever bothered to charge or use) so I guess I'd still be using that if the N900 didn't exist.

I would have kept my N95 8GB (+5530) and would have waited for the next flagship device of Nokia.

well its got to be the iphone cos its the next best device, os, and best app content, every other manufacturer in the poll makes junk that should be sold in asda for £99, am i the only one who sees this?
or does everyone just hate apple?
android comes a lagging 3rd unfortunately!

i might have actually ended up with an iphone... all my friends seem to be joining the flocks of sheep and getting them and theyre always trying to convince me to get one. I need the N900 in order to rub it in their faces that i have the superior phone

Still using N95 as a phone, using N900 now as a Tablet, don't mind carrying two devices, just love them both too much. Was really close on getting the HTC Hero right before they announced the N900. Was looking for a device which incorporated Adobe Flash, at the time HTC Hero would have been the only device...Thank you Nokia!

The only reason I didn't buy a diamond2 to replace my windows 6.0 phone was, I wanted a keyboard to go with that.

Since then, Windows Phone 7 took a wrong turn and went back in time to compete with Iphone 1.0, I learned the difference between cap/res screens, and now, frankly, I don't know what phone could possibly satisfy my every requirement.

So, since I won't be satisfied no matter what, I'll have that to go in a shiny HTC/Android design.
