thanks for the answers again!
a few more questions:
1) what happens with a missed call/sms- theres an led blinking, but isnt there a notification on the homescreen per default? someone here suggested that you could only see the notiification n submenus..i however saw screenshots with a yellow popup...does that disappear entirely? confused here...
2) the nokia n95 had a minor problem- if someone called several times it would only list the most recent call of that person and not all...does the n900 list all calls of the same person or only the most recent in the missed call log?
3) if i open an sms, does it state the time it was received or is that info only accessible via "options etc", the n95 had that problem
4) anyone know the cheapest available offer for the n900 in the uk (online), cheapest i found was 395pounds..

I dunno, I've installed a program from the repository called "Mirror" and lo and behold, it does just that...show my ugly mug on the screen as I look at it. I agree, not the best of apps as it shows my ugly mug, but it does show hardware wise the thing works as advertised. There's just little software which uses it. Most notably Skype.
