    Is there an app to encrypt file or folder on N900?

    i guess the title said it all... ? need some files to be hidden and not to be seen by the tracker but can easily be accessed by me by simply tping a password.

    ok - just confirmed that N900 has Truecrypt in the extras-devel repository (command-line only).

    You may be able to do it with zip.. Xarchiver (also in extras-devel) does 7z which should also supports AES encryption.

    hmm it would be cool if you could make use of Fuse in combination with EncryptedFS, but i guess that will never happen. :-(

    I haven't tried this so I might be steering you into a dead end but gpg is installed by default so you should be able to generate a key or import one you already have and encrypt your files in the terminal. If you're not familiar with the syntax, just Google gpg for some tutorials.
