I´m looking for a driving log application.
-for reporting business/personal trips.
There is an application för S60 units: http://www.hansaworld.com/solutions/...og/hwindex.htm
But it lacks support for N900.

Is there any similar application somewhere?

I need 4 fields:
date
trip description
mileage at beginning of the trip
mileage at the end of the trip

other features on the want-list:
automatic fill of actual date.
export to tab delimited format (or other format easy imported to excel)

I dont need calculation of distance, or cost of trip etc.
Once exported to excel I let excel do that (if I want)

TIA

thanx for the tip!

I tried fuelpad a couple of months ago. Didn´t like it then.
I followed your tip and downloaded it again ( I know there has been some updates since I last used it)

What I didn't like has not been changed since i last tried it:
when I add a record I have to manually calculate how long the trip was
I would like to enter the odometers values before and after the trip ended.

The features of selecting fields is good, but it does not apply to the export data function.

strange, my fuelpad has automatically calculated every trip and all I did was inputting total mileage. so you should investigate. if you use car once in a while, use the total mileage. so when you get the car, put total mileage to fuelpad and add note that says something like "not my mileage" etc.... fuelpad is for a car, not for a driver so small patents must be used in order to customize it to different user cases

and there probably is an app for importing the db to excel.

yes fuelpad does automatically calculate, thats not the problem.

I use the car both private and in my work, I therefore have to register how long the work trips are.
I need to enter the cars milage at the start and at the end of each trip. and then export it to a format readable by excel.

This feature has been proposed to fuelpad before but since I don't need such myself I haven't had the motivation and time to add it. Combining this with gps automatically would be quite cool.

Feel free to add feature requests in the garage tracker: https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/?at...54&func=browse. If you look at the closed feature request list (change state to Closed and update the list with Quick Browse button), you can see that I have implemented some of those request before.
