how i can extract RAR ,ZIP files ?

well, i saw that thread , and nothing helpful

still can't open the RAR file

any help ?

you need Xarchiver and unrar plugin, you can get them from here

gotta install the RAR app from X-terminal, "apt-get install unzip unrar"
then use x-terminal to go into the directory where your .rar file is located, and type the command, unrar x "nameofyourfile".... you need to have extras-devel enabled to install the app and be root to unrar it i think, ONLY USE DEVEL & TERMINAL AT YOUR OWN RISK!

i don't want to open new thread ,but what i should learn to make a N900 Application, it's C ,C+ ?

I use 7 zip. it';s in one of those repositories i forget which one. then i googled it and found a tutorial on how to work it

One thing i'm wondering is what is the command to compress a file? ... like to package a movie into a .zip or .rar file? ... can anyone hint me out?
