    Im finding it very difficult to navigate through very large threads on this forum using my n900. Once a thread gets bigger than a thousand or so posts the navigation links seem get pushed out of their layer.

    It would be a shame if it were not possible to browse the maemo forums perfectly with a maemo device. Is there a trick I am missing here?

    Mhm. I find that bad, too. I change the theme for such threads, but its still annoying - especially as I tend to get lost with themes I'm not used to.

    if you check the url thats being loaded, after you've swapped to a different page, you'll find page=xxx at the end of the url.

    manually change it to whatever page you want and press return

    If they simply could put together "prev" and "next" links, and then page numbers...

    when your in a thread with 1000 posts, where you need the next/last buttons, type this into the address bar and press enter..

    javascript:var d=(document.body.style.minWidth="1050px");

    it cheats the webpage into to thinking its on 1050px screen and adjusts there after.

    Edit: BTW. it can be bookmarked.

    Thats definately a very neat trick. Its not very practical though.

    I think rearranging the links would look weird for the majority of the threads. Maybe the First, Prev, Next & Last links should be on their own line?

    I've had a thread regarding this which came up with a workaround. Use that java script with greasemonkey. (although i have still yet to get grease monkey working with microb)
