Just a suggestion, although one that might be hard to implement since it surely has to do with hildon-desktop.
Instead of moving the desktops, why not just move the widgets when the live wallpaper is active?
That way you can always see the wallpaper without putting a lot of load on the device (be it the CPU or the DSP)

How do I tweak the setting of this widget? I want the Matrix wallpaper. When I tap on the Live Wallpaper Icon, it just crashes. Its only showing one wallpaper.

great work man this is the bee's knees fo' sho'. a suggestion perhaps, and i don't know if it would work out-of-the-box with native support, but have you considered rather than using a widget for this effect, using .apng files instead so that the wall paper IS truly animated?

You cannot use the icon in "more" however, if you go to settings you will be able to change wallpaper and rich animation.

Only one at the moment. This is just a widget and they only work on one screen.

PR1.2 is supposed to change how wallpapers work so we should be able to get proper live wallpapers on all backgrounds soon.

great work Vlad! the current wallpapers work pretty great, speed is decent too! now to wait for more live wallpapers to come out
