    Don't give them any ideas

Feedback has to be checked, thus we go round in an endless circle of QA and feedback.

This means that PR1.2 gets released either when:

    A) Someone in QA gets bored and resigns/transfers to another project

    B) Someone in QA dies of a Repetitive Stress related issue

    C) Meego gets finished and released sometime in the next 1-4 years and resources get freed up for PR1.2

Be patient, start growing a beard and update us with photos of how it's coming along, maybe we could all do it and see who's grows the longest by the time PR1.2 comes out?

Yeah, I was actually going to say "promoted hard", but some mystery force made me mistype. Either aliens or ESL, can't say for sure.

lets be honest with our selves. does it really make a diff howmuch feed back they get? we all know nokia and we all know they will release this thing half baked. it hasnt stopped them before. the real feed back willcome after the release and people like us blow up web sites like this with our frustration and concerns. its the cycle of life

This thread has changed my view of the world. I used to be happy with my car, but now I am pissed off that the car is 5 years old and Nissan has not released a single upgrade. What's worse is that they have introduced several new models since then, and I have no option to upgrade my car's firmware. I think they have moved all the engineers off of XTerra and are concentrating on the Rogue.

I am selling my XTerra and buying an iCar.

I'm sure when your car broke down or there was something wrong with it, you could take it in for repair. Also, I'm sure Nissan was able to ship you a car that was bug free unlike Toyota

Also, your iCar can't do multiple things at once. No biggie, just remember it will turn off headlights, open all doors, roll down windows and stop the CD player before starting the engine.

Stop reading this thread! it will change your mind further! What will happen next, once you buy a new car, you will start looking for newer from he first day. You will drive home, get your laptop and browse for better car. In fact, you will never get good enough car. even with audi, whose dvd system does not support N wifi... and would not get the MeGoo.

You will get crazy because of the fact that at some point you will discover that you need something from your car but do not know what exactly before that feature announced. You will always feel disapointed with what you have in your hands.

I would recommend to stop reading that stuff, stop waiting for updates, buy OZ wheels, wash your car, go to the lake, fish, get n900 with you, listen to music, kiss your wife/girlfriend and discover that car is just a tool helped you to get there with your wife. and music on n900 is enough to make that moment better...

I know that's hard. Like we say - any developer who just found new job immediately starts looking for new job)
