Does anyone know if they are coming to the OVI store?
I don't mind paying for a spotify client.

I'm the creator of Qtify, the reason i stopped working on Qtify was that my premium account expired and i didn't feel like paying 9.99€/month to keep on developing. The project is open for anyone to take my project further though

Actually, someone joined in today, we'll see if he can bring it to life again

@Hexagoon do you know if despotify will ever support offline mode? If that is the case I'd be willing to sacrifice quite a few hours if I'd be a capable programmer ( I'll still look around, but I'm sure I wont get anywhere). Spotify client with offline mode is THE most desired feature missing on my N900. The client can otherwise be as simple as it wants...

Offline mode means saving data locally enabling people to "make copies" which might not be too popular since it took some time before Spotify agreed to not try to stop despotify.

My guess would be that any new branch with offline mode would have to be done very carefully...

That is a good point. What about putting pressure on spotify to release their libspotify for arm architectures? Would libspotify ever support offline mode? I guess in the slightly longer term it wouldn't be that impossible that spotify might create a Qt client for Symbian and MeeGo combined..?

Edit: I went through some of your last posts Hexagoon, I didn't know you were using libopenspotify instead now... I'll have a quick googling to figure out what the difference is
