    Hi All,
Has anyone seen the latest news on Ovi Maps?! For those with compatible devices, you can customize the Voice on the sat nav to be that of your own.
Its good to se that Nokia is making Ovi Maps more diverse but still, months on, we havent had nothing for the Nokia N900.
I rarely use my Nokia N900 now cos of the lack of Ovi Store support. Im glad i still have my iPhone to use!!

here is a link to the story and here is the actual OVI link.

WTF Nokia. You could have spent time giving us actually usable maps on a flagship device for PR1.2, but, instead, you devoted more time to Symbian navigation.

Firstly congratulations to your spelling, man

I share your thoughts, really. But bear in mind that symbian covers way more devices than maemo. Therefore, when it comes to OVI and firmware updates, its Symbian first, maemo second. But I really hope they get spanked if they make us wait some longer..

Some is better than none, for sure. However, they have had quite a bit of time to work with the strategic API (Qt4.6). I would hope that they are pretty close to giving us a feature-equivalent version of maps.
