Yeah it's a known issue that it doesn't always show up but if you update collection from menu it should work then. I have to try figure out why this happens and fix it.

I like the idea very much, but usability is to be improved. Fonts in browser are very small for no reason (distance between lines are even too large). Also control buttons are too small. A hint: try to test this app without stylus, just with bare fingers

You coul have a look at existing mmpc application how tree browser is working there - maybe it'll give you some ideas.

I really like using this client. I hope that some of the buttons will get a bit bigger in the future =). I would also really appreciate a way to change the volume (if it's there and I was just to blind to find it, kindly point me in the right direction =p).
Great work and I hope CuteMPC will evolve further.

    I like this client too!!
But it takes a few minutes to start up... and can't what is causing this.
I tried starting it from a terminal, but there is no output or error.
    Also tried re-installing the app..

Perhaps someone can tell me how to debug this?

Nice to hear people are using this

@Marcels: Do you mean it takes time for the window to show up or for the client to be usable? For me the client starts fast but if you have a large playlist already in MPD the loading can take quite some time. There's no way debugging it very nicely since I haven't put many debug printing in the client.

@goemb: I plan to continue the development sometimes after PR1.2 is released. I promise that volume setting will come then.

I think the size of the playlist is the problem. It contains approx. 7600 songs.
Do you have plans to improve this? Because for me makes this this app quite unusable.

Yes I will do something to improve this, but I'm still waiting for PR1.2 so don't hold your breath yet.

Awesome work! When I tried to connect to my pc on wlan i only get error 13... operation now in progress. But then I tried to connect when on 3G and it worked perfectly! And I think the gui should be remade to make it easier to use. It is very small now and in the list you have to scroll vertical to see all text. Maybe the gui should be something like media player?

Any updates on a PR1.2 version? I'd like to get the old libqt4-maemo5 libraries off my N900 (and they'll be disappearing from the repositories soon).

I will change the libraries during weekend but I won't probably have time to make any other changes or additions yet.
