how to download and try vertsms, i check in app manager still no vertsms for download?
I'm downloading it this very moment, I had to refresh the catalog to bring it up.
edit: it looks great and very professional, excellent start. It doesnt actually send the sms yet, right, cos nothing came through? I wasnt able to type a number into the To: field by using the keypad, choosing a contact worked. Hitting the text areas is dead annoying, as it brings up the landscape keyboard - is there any way of switching that behaviour off? Perhaps overriding a method in the parent Qt/whatever GUI class it is or something.
just trying this app, looks amazing design is very nice, first problem is when i type sms to myself received message that i send sms to wrong number whic i am write 100 % like a should, and second is whwn i want to insert number automatic is turn to landscape mode, typing is very fast and thanks for this app...
isnt that controlled by the text input option in settings?
Yeah virtual keyboard, but I use it constantly. I'd say just have a key of some sort to clear the text box and start it blank instead of with text already in it.
Texting works for me, I've texted my wife twice with it. The conversation does not show up in the normal area but I suppose that's expected at this point.
I finally received a test text and I think i've figured out what was wrong with sending my other texts. The number you're sending to needs to have the country code in front of it.
For example, in UK the number should start "+44", then drop the first '0', then carry on with the rest of the number, e.g. if the number you want to send to is 077******** and you use that then it fails to send. It seems you'd need to use "+4477********" for this app to work.
