Though others might call it foolish, it was a daring act to install that buggy unreleased firmware. For my part I didn't dare to do it but since the prolonged waiting was too boring I started testing ovi suite beta on N900...(I had stopped installing new apps or updates for a more than a month , just so that there would be some space left for PR1.2) I think you should give it a shot too, higher rev on your phone should enable more support from ovi suite just like isync requires the newer version number. But even with current limited set of features am happy atleast ovi suite has started supporting to some extend.
jesus. We are on 4011 post and still no PR1.2????????? lol what’s the delay now???? testing for two months?? im running the RC fine now but for principle sakes this is a BIG joke to delay this long and release to Hong Kong who had no participation in the development of the platform!!!
Thanks nokia. Look after the guys who didn’t do anything. O well this life for ya

Yeah, I signed up for the beta as well. I specifically selected "Linux" as my OS. I wonder why they even bothered sending me the acceptance email, as there's no Linux client for Ovi Suite. *sigh*
Oh well, I'll whip out WINE and see what it can do with it.
